Is it ever okay for a man to wear a brightly colored blazer or sportcoat as a fashion accessory?

As a man who likes to dress well, I own several suits and many blazers and sport coats. I like variety. Sue me. ;) Of my 18 coats and blazers, 2 are brightly colored. One is bright blue, and the other is fire engine red. They're quirky, but I love them. That said, is there any way to wear them without looking like a flight attendant? lol
