What and when to wear a striped blazer?

so i just bought a super cute black and white striped blazer from ann taylor loft, its mega cute! i'm not sure what to wear with it, and when...well i gues i know to wear it at night...and probably in the fall time because its a little bit to warm for summer...but what else can i wear it for and how?? please tell me a night time way and maybe a day time way! thank you!!
