My 93 chevy blazer will not start?

i have a 93 chevy s10 blazer 2wd 2d. i started it the other day and tried going into reverse and i gave it gas and it bogged out really hard. so i pushed it to floor and still bogged out hard. and now it wont start. it had trouble starting before. u would have to push on pedal while trying to start and it has the 4.3 vortec cpi. i changed fuel filter on it, distributor cap and rotor on it, has new wires and plugs. the fuel pump is working, and when it cranks over it tries to start but wont go through with it. and after you try starting it you can smell fuel inside engine compartment. any ideas?

UCLA on the other hand is harder to get into but you seem like you could get in, although really with both of these universities your more than qualified although at the same time a lot of other people are too, so it can go either way there no definite here. Although what I can say for sure is that you'll without a doubt get into multiple of the other UCs, and you have a very good shot at UCLA and UCSD. With you SAT, if you can take it again in the fall although depending on the time when your submitting your application, you might not have your scores back/ready because the next test date is October 1st, I would say take it again see how you do,you aren't too far from a 2000.

1997 Chevy Blazer LT 4x4 blowing stop light fuse?

Everything was fine until the day before yesterday. Now every time I step on the brakes the 20amp fuse for the stop lights blows. Only thing I did different was took neighbors boat to the lake and everything was working fine when we went up but quit working on the way back. Also the dome light will come on on its own since this happened. I have towed many trailers with it before and never had a problem. Have replaced the trailer light wiring harness and the stop light bulbs and didnt help. I know I have to have a short somewhere but don't know where to start looking. Thanks

2001 chevy blazer 4.3 vortec. I recently replaced the air pump and the new hose assembly stated in the technical service bulletin in response of the p0410 trouble code. 2 weeks later it shows up again. It shows 'p0410' and 'p0410' pending. what the hell is going on???? When I start the car, I hear the new hose vacuum sucking in air and shuts off after a few minutes. So it is working as it should. I'm 16, going to be a junior next year in AP classes and honestly if the teachers are suggesting him to be in the classes he sure as hell can handle them. Teachers evaluate really well to make sure that whatever class they're recommending for the student will help the student be successful. Honors and AP classes look great on college applications and if he goes through the honors classes and continues into AP junior and senior year you can save a lot of money by taking a test to transfer the AP credits into college credit hours. If you're worried about it, maybe only do 1 or 2 of the classes, but to get recommended for 3 honors classes and not take any of them would be looked at as either foolish or lazy by most teachers and college admission guides.\\edit// AND teachers are always willing to give students help where it's needed. I don't know how hard your son's school is, but usually honors classes are a challenge...but a nice challenge. If his lowest grade is a 94 he should definitely be taking honors classes.

ok.. so you have power and ground set up for the amp.. thats easy to hook up to the amp.. there will be three wires.. one set will be your RCA cables that plug into the back of your deck labels amp or rear outputs.. these are what tell your amp to do... then there will be a thin blue wire.. it will also be labeled on your deck and also should be a blue colored wire.. this will tell your amp to turn on and off with your deck.. very simple.. then you will run your speaker wire to your sub as you normally would. hope this helps

Why won't my car speakers get loud?

i have a 1998 blazer and the door speakers arnt loud at all. i have a aftermarket radio. its a jesen phase liner flip out, but the reason why i ask this is, i never seen anybody with subs have to amp up there door speakers but me? my subs are loud but the boor speakers are quiet, even when the subs are off, you have to turn the radio up all the way almost just to jam out to the music! i have the door speakers amped up with a 2 channel 1000w amp, and it sounds great i was just woundering why isnt it loud without the amp?

From one shooter to another- How can i be more accurate with my handgun?

I have been having extreme accuracy problems with My almost brand new Glock model 20 10mm auto semi auto handgun. I have been shooting handguns for a good amount of years. Have lots of experience shooting 1911's. In fact my and my father went to the local range, me with my glock 20 and 100rds of CC1 blazer and my dad with his Kimber 1911 .45acp and 150rds of Magtech fmj. This was the first and only time i shot my Tupperware pistol but from a standard distance of 10yds my accuracy was a joke. i was hitting paper, but all over the place. to put it in idea i had probly a 2ft group. switching to the 1911 i had probly a 5 inch group at 20yds. I am 5'6, 125lbs, im a small guy that wears a medium sized glove, but even so i believe the extremely fat grip of the 15rd mag G20 negatively effects my shooting. i shoot thumbs forward, with both eyes open and shoot SO MUCH better with a single stack .45, obviously if i bought a glock i couldnt afford to get a 10mm 1911 but i just had to have the ballistic performance of the 10mm. Recoil wasnt an issue, but sheer size of the grip is. holding it when not shooting it isnt uncomfortable, feel good, but when it comes down to releasing some lead the grip wiggles around in my hand because it is not fully supported (I am guessing). I have been Kicking myself for buying it. i absolutely love the gun. it is 1 of 2 of my handguns the other being a 1954 Czech CZ52 7.62x25 which has no recoil, but isnt a serious weapon when it comes to performance and reliability. if i could swap the G20 for a 1911 .45 i would, but cant. so my fellow handgun heads what do you recommend i do to get use out of this bad boy?

98 blazer a/c is having problems HELP!!!!?

Its extremely hot where I live, well the a/c when i first start the truck runs fine, but not the best. after keeping the engine running for about 1 hour worth of driving, the cold air stops, and its kinda like a window unit when you turn off the compressor, it just blows normal air. So when you're inside the car and looking at the windshield, the wiper on the left seems to be missing this huge spot right in the middle of the way it's supposed to be wiping, which in general is the spot where I look to drive lol. Is my Blazer's Fuel Pump Bad?

It is a 2001 Chevy Blazer LS with the 4.3l v6. We were driving down the road and it quit on us. it is not the alternator because i had that tested. i was told to replace the distributor cap and rotor so i did that. i got it to start and it idles really rough. when you step on the gas the car dies. the fuel pump sounded really labored when it would prime the system. then the fuel pump stopped working and it would not start. 3 days later the fuel pump did kick on but sounded labored and again rough idle and would die when stepping on the gas. then the pump stopped working again. is this the sign of a bad fuel pump?

Hiya, I've just moved into a 7 bedroom house in New York, I've been in it for a couple of weeks now and my 3 children (Alissa-6, Jamie-10 and Matthew-10) have been staying in their bedroom and Matthew said that he seen an old man who was quite tall and he was wearing a red blazer, then a few weeks after Alissa and Jamie were helping me in the kitchen and Alissa heard someone walking up the stairs. You are crazy if you wear a �450 jacket to a homeless shelter!! The jeans, a t-shirt and a pair of runners is fine, but the scarf and sunnies are too much. Just a regular pullover would be fine. These people are homeless. You need to adapt what you wear to the people around you. You'll look as overdressed as someone in a ballgown at a picnic. It can be seen as offensive to wear such expensive clothing in front of people who can't afford a meal or a place to stay for the night, so be mindful of the sensitivities of those around you.

What are my chances of getting into the University of Michigan?

The required GPA is a 3.5 so you're fine in that area. The extra curriculars seem to be alright, the issue may be the ACT score. I don't think any college will pick the best individual scores, I think they just take the best overall ACT you have. And while a 24 is a good score for the ACT, I believe UofM requires something like a 27 or 28 for admittance. However, that does not automatically rule you out, but it seems that will be your biggest deterrent.

Bad power train control module/ecm?

when i replaced the air pump and the new GM hose assembly on my 2001 chevy blazer 4.3 automatic a couple of weeks ago, the fault codes P0410 (2ndary air injection malfunction) and P0440 (evap sys. malfunction) CAME back up. the air pump works at cold start up just like its supposed to, so i dont know why that code came back up. for the p0440 code, i replaced the gas cap and the purge solenoid but no luck i guess. (advance auto parts said p0440 was tied in with p0410 so i dont know if that will help anybody) im beginning to realize that the pcm/ecm may be on its way out. (the pcm/ecm commands these systems on) on another topic, the a.b.s. and brake lights illuminated twice at start up and went off twice at start up. the brakes work just fine so i dont know why these lights came on. do all signs point to a failing pcm/ecm? please give me honest answers (dont tell me what the codes mean b/c i know what they mean)

Pencil skirts, a short-sleeved, airy blouse, and some decent heels always do the trick for interviews. If you know you're going to be meeting the head honchos I would dress decently, so no obvious cleavage. Forever 21 is great for 16 yr olds, but not the super mini skirts, you're there to make a lasting impression. You'll probably get in...its not that competitive of a school. As long as you live in the state of NC your fine, if your out of state it will be harder for you but theres a chance. Overall you seem to do fine in school and you have a bunch of ECs. You have some honors thats good, and the one AP is good, your ACT score is average, not great but not terrible might want to retake in this fall or not its up to you, you'll most likely get in, in my opinion, but overall no one here can tell you for sure that up to the admission people. So now the only thing you can do is apply, this coming fall.

Why does my mom think I'm so stupid?

I'm not being conceited or anything, but I am not stupid. I'm going to a prestigious private high school next year (9th grade) and I went to a private middle school before. I got all straight A's before and I'm on the honor roll. My mom saw my report card and that I was on the honor roll. She talked to all of my teachers and they all said good things about me. Chevy 2000 blazer zr2 Bose Wiring Diagram?

I am trying to install a new stereo in my Blazer that came with a BOSE stereo. None of the wire colors match up to the new wiring harness. The way I see it the past is the past. In the words of a character from a Disney movie, "You can either learn from it, or run from it." People may react differently at first but once its out there there's nothing left to hide and you'll feel a HUGE weight lifted off your shoulder. And in time it wont even be an issue with your peers. That's who you were but don't let it define who you are now. Courage isn't the absence of fear but the ability to control it. SO have some courage, relax, and wear that short sleeve short. It may feel awkward at first but in the end you'll be glad you did!

2001 Chevy blazer 4.3 automatic. Not the gas cap; replaced it already and hoses are in good shape. WHY would p0440 (evap malfunction) be tied into p0410 (2ndary air malfunction). What could be the problem?

Senior year really doesn't matter for admissions; applications are due in the fall before you get any senior year grades yet. If you don't aim high, you can probably get into some lower ranked state schools with a 2.4 and high SAT scores. But nothing much higher than that. And don't go to college unless you have a clear plan for what you'll major in and what you'll do with that degree.

Beautiful names for the big sisters. As much as I like the name Gianna, I think Elena would be better. If you wanted something similar to Gianna, you could always name her Gia or Georgia or something like that. Personally, I think Stella, Ava and Gia go together rather well. I worked a few years ago for an american company's representative office in Asia. Originally, they give me a title of Secretary because Foreign Entreprise's secretary was a big deal and a good job with good pay at the time. Trouble codes P0440 and P0410?

2001 Chevy blazer 4.3 automatic. i have trouble codes p0440 (evap malfunction) tied in with p0410 (2ndary air malfunction). I replaced the air pump and new hose assembly. Light came back on with same two codes. (The pump sucks in air and works fine). I think I may have found the problem. I traced it to the 2 air check valves that lead into the manifold. If these are stuck open and/or detiorating, the evap system isn't achieving enough vacuum during it's test so the pressure drops and sets the p0440. Does this make sense to anybody or am i off base?
